Julie Nikolaevskaya is Special Counsel at SGR. She was formerly with Kissinger & Fellman, P.C. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois in 2001, and her Juris Doctor from Indiana University in 2005.
Julie’s practice focuses on civil litigation, criminal law, motor carriers and commercial drivers, including overweight citations and other hauling violations, municipal/local government law and municipal prosecutions, section 1983 claims, government and law enforcement liability, as well as trucking accident defense.
After graduating from law school, Julie worked at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in the Complex Litigation/Civil Rights Division, Criminal Prosecution Bureau, Preliminary Hearings and Felony Review Division, Traffic Division, and the Appellate Division.
