Background
Mr. Weiss is an associate in the firm’s Construct Defect litigation practice. He was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies.
He obtained his Juris Doctor from Florida International University (FIU) College of Law in Miami, FL, where he served as a senior staff editor on FIU Law Review. While in law school, Mr. Weiss clerked at the Denver Probate Court where he gained valuable exposure to the Colorado legal system.
He then served as a research assistant to Professor Charles C. Jalloh for two years, providing extensive research into complex areas of international law. Mr. Weiss was then awarded a fellowship to continue his research at the United Nations International Law Commission (ILC) in Geneva, Switzerland, where he helped Professor Jalloh and the ILC draft critical guidance to international courts.
After law school, Mr. Weiss relocated to Denver, Colorado, where he brings his experience handling complex legal matters to his construction litigation practice.
