Mr. Gentry earned his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, where he held leadership positions in the Trial Advocacy Board, received the CALI Award for Advanced Evidence, and actively participated in numerous trial advocacy competitions. He also served as President of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honors Society and held leadership roles in the Executive Leadership Committee. Additionally, his judicial observation program with the Honorable Wayne Creech and an externship with the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office further enhanced his practical litigation skills.
Before attending law school, Mr. Gentry obtained both a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Criminal Justice from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, where he also completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Law with a minor in Pre-Law. His academic credentials are bolstered by practical experience from internships at the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office and the Colorado Springs Teen Court.
