ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – SGR, LLC

SGR, LLC is one of Colorado’s oldest defense litigation law firms.  Our firm is growing and we are looking to hire multiple associates for positions within several practice groups, including general liability, auto and personal injury, and tort. We are hiring attorneys of all experience levels.

Our philosophy is that attorneys learn best through mentoring and hands on experience.  As an attorney at SGR, you will engage with partners, associates and all staff.  You will have the opportunity to take depositions, attend mediations, evaluate cases, work with experts, draft pleadings, attend hearings and trials, and interact with clients.  Unlike some law firms that assign project-based work to new attorneys, our attorneys are assigned their own cases and, with the guidance and support of the partner, handle all aspects of their cases from inception through conclusion.  Attorneys are typically assigned to work with two partners and are also assigned a paralegal and secretary.  Together, they collaborate to determine the best resolution for the client and then execute a plan to reach that resolution.

SGR has a manageable billable hour requirement with the opportunity for hybrid work with some days in-office and some days remote.  We provide in-house CLEs at least quarterly on topics that apply to civil litigation.  We emphasize the importance of equity, diversity, and inclusion.  We understand that EDI makes us better and more effective advocates for our clients.

If you are interested in joining our SGR team, please upload your resume, cover letter, references, and a short writing sample. This can be submitted as one PDF or as separate PDFs.

SGR, LLC is one of Colorado’s oldest defense litigation law firms.  We are looking to hire a 2L or 3L law student to work, part-time, with our team in Denver.
